From Elkhart Indiana, Goshen Indiana,
Niles Michigan and Berrien Springs Michigan to our South Bend Flight School
To get to our flight school you will come from the 20/31 Bypass and take the airport exit.
From there:
- Eastbound on Lincolnway, follow the signs to the airport as if you were driving to the passenger terminal
- You will turn right toward the passenger terminal and then pass the museum on the right. The drive bends to the left (North)
- Turn right at the next opportunity.
- You will stop at a T-intersection, which is Commerce Drive . Turn left (North) onto Commerce Drive . You will then come to a stop sign that is even with the railroad tracks of the South Shore Line. Cross the railroad tracks and turn into the parking lot on the left. You will see a building with a Cessna sign.
- Walk into the door that is to the far right and has the printed sign that reads, “Michiana Aircraft Service, Inc.”
From Granger, northern sections of South Bend, and other areas for travel to the airport via Cleveland Road to our South Bend Flight School
To get to our facility turn South on Bendix Drive.
From there:
- You will pass the airport and see the runway environment to your right
- Turn right at the next traffic light, which is Voorde Drive
- Turn right at the second four-way stop sign, which is Commerce Drive
- Commerce Drive ends at a stop sign that is even with the railroad tracks of the South Shore Line. Cross the railroad tracks and turn into the parking lot on the left. You will see a building with a Cessna sign
- Walk into the door that is to the far right and has the printed sign that reads, “Michiana Aircraft Service, Inc.”

From downtown South Bend Indiana, the Notre Dame campus area, and other mid-town sections of South Bend to our South Bend Flight School
To get to the airport you will be coming from the East on Lincolnway.
From there:
- Westbound on Lincolnway past Bendix Dr, turn right on Maplewood Dr. There is a 7-11 on the left side of the road, and a 1st Source Bank on the right.
- (If you miss the turn onto Maplewood , stay straight ahead and turn into the airline terminal and follow the directions for Lincolnway from the West)
- Immediately turn left onto Commerce Drive
- The 1st Source parking lot will remain on your left
- Commerce Drive bends to the right (North) and ends at a stop sign that is even with the railroad tracks of the South Shore Line. Cross the railroad tracks and turn into the parking lot on the left. You will see a building with a Cessna sign.
- Walk into the door that is to the far right and has the printed sign that reads, “Michiana Aircraft Service, Inc.”
